This side event will explore how Parties and other stakeholders can leverage data and research for resilience building and addressing drought as an adverse mobility driver by introducing initiatives and good practices as well as discussing existing challenges and gaps. The side event will contribute to the implementation of Decision 22/COP 14, and the strategic objective 2 of the UNCCD 2018–2030 Strategic Framework, “to improve the living conditions of affected populations”.
