This side event will aim to explore the roles of regional frameworks and other forms of regional cooperation for advancing the implementation of the UNCCD decisions, focusing on leveraging the measures of UNCCD for addressing DLDD as one of the drivers of migration but also the positive role of migration in combatting DLDD.
