The webinar introduced innovative practices of environmentally sustainable reintegration and their positive impact on both climate change adaptation as well as returnees’ reintegration in their countries of origin. The IOM Guidance for mainstreaming environmental and climate considerations into reintegration programming is available here. This is part of the IOM project on "Mainstreaming environmental dimensions into reintegration support to reduce the effects of climate change on migration in West Africa" funded by the Government of France and the ORION Project (Operationalising an Integrated Approach to Reintegration) funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office.
