Migration, Climate change and Social Justice Conference
Saturday 9th April 2016, 10 am till 6 pm
To be held at Trinity College, University of Oxford

Migration is one of the most pressing issues of our time, however it is little understood both in its causes and its impacts on the host countries and on migrants. This conference brings together information, analysis and current thinking on migration and to connect it to contemporary analysis and solutions for the development of economics, social justice and environmental justice. It seeks to link them together and to form a new and more positive and beneficial narrative to face the challenges that 21st century migration may well bring. It seeks to learn from history both recent and in the distant past as human beings have always migrated and this activity has made us what we are today. The conference links migration to recent strong drivers such as climate change and science and discuss the latest thinking about this too.
