This study assesses the role that planned rural-to-urban migration can play in enhancing livelihood resilience and introducing new economic opportunities for economies and communities in semi-arid regions of Pakistan, taking into consideration external stressors including climate change. The report builds a case for understanding how planned internal migration can be an adaptation strategy to climate change impacts.
