Opening of the IOM Global Migration Data Analysis Centre GMDAC Berlin
IOM is pleased to announce the opening of the Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC) in Berlin on 7th September.
In its 157 Member States and more than 480 locations worldwide, IOM constantly gathers a wealth of data on global migration issues. The IOM Global Migration Data Analysis Centre will collect this information centrally and publish timely analysis on migration issues. With the GMDAC, IOM responds to the increase in calls for better collection and use of migration data on a range of issues such as displacement, returns and resettlement and human trafficking.
