The Overviews on South-South migration and development provide a background on South-South migration, human development trends and research and training needs in ACP countries and regions. They provide a snapshot of main trends and migration themes less considered in terms of immigration, emigration, remittances, diasporas, labour migration, migration and the environment and other pertinent subjects. They are aimed at assisting national discussions and they indicate the definition of research angles and priorities for national and regional studies to be conducted in ACP pilot countries which have been approved by national stakeholders.
