On behalf of the Task Force on Displacement, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Platform on Disaster Displacement (PDD) organized a Stakeholder Meeting on “Recommendations for integrated approaches to avert, minimize and address displacement related to the adverse impacts of climate change”. The meeting brought together the Members of the Task Force as well as key stakeholders working on the human mobility and climate change nexus. The aim of the meeting was to take stock of progress under the different areas of the Task Force's workplan and inform the development of the intergrated recommendations that will be presented at COP24 in Katowice, Poland. The meeting wasorganized with the financial support of the Federal Government of Germany.
