Knowledge Platform on People on the Move in a Changing Climate
This publication is a research protocol and field guide, developed for the Where the Rain Falls research project. The project aims to improve the understanding about how rainfall variability affects food and livelihood security, and undertook research in eight case study countries.
The Where the Rain Falls project investigates how changes in rainfall interact with societies. Findings from all case studies confirm that rainfall variability and food insecurity are key drivers for human mobility. The Viet Nam case study was conducted in Dong Thap Province, Thap Muoi District.
What’s in it for Latin America? presents key findings from the IPCC’sFifth Assessment Report (AR5) for Latin America. It extracts Latin America-specific data, trends and analysis directly from AR5, summarising it in a short volume to make it accessible to all audiences, and highlights key opportunities to achieve adaptation, mitigation and development.
