The ATHA team marks the release of each Humanitarian Assistance Podcast with a live, on-line Launch Event. These events give our network of practitioners the chance to listen to the latest podcast as a group, to ask questions about the material, and to build relationships with other professionals. The Launch Event for this latest episode is being held Thursday, 29 January 2015.

• What legal and operational gaps exist in the humanitarian protection of persons displaced by climate change and environmental factors?
• How do we determine whether such displacement is voluntary or forced, temporary or permanent, and which legal frameworks apply? How do individual protection needs differ between internal and cross-border displacement?
