The aim of the conference is to discuss continuing challenges and formulate solutions to the climate change displaced people. It will as well examine governance challenges by applying emerging norms and standards to specific contexts with the aim of deepening knowledge and developing practical solutions that actively address climate change displacement. This will be examined by the use of four case studies which will help build on the foundational work of efforts such as the Nansen Initiative to delve deeper into particular contexts that will highlight the existing complexities, challenges, and solutions in details.
