Climate Migration and Health

  • Date
    10 Jun 2016, 09:00am
  • Location
    Wilhelmstr. 69, Berlin, Germany

“In the years to come, migration dynamics will change as a consequence of climate change. Natural disasters such as cyclones, floods, droughts and the rising sea level already threaten food (stability) security in some regions of the world and are a major influence in spreading vector-borne diseases.

This conference unites scientists and experts to better understand the health issues of climate migration, through a transdisciplinary approach. The series of presentations and panel discussions will cover different aspects on the topic and help define research priorities in Global Health for the future.”

The conference language is English.
