A consortium of Australian-based researchers – Dr Carol Farbotko (University of Tasmania), Dr Hedda Ransan-Cooper (Australian National University), Dr Fanny Thornton (University of Canberra), Ms Emilie Chevalier (University of Sydney and University of Limoges), Dr Olivia Dun (University of Wollongong), and Ms Purevdulam Lkhagvasuren and Dr Karen McNamara (both University of Queensland) – are currently undertaking a research project exploring environmental migration frames. This research seeks to draw on the views and experiences of those working in this field to analyze current understandings of the topic of environmental migration, and they kindly seek your assistance with this research project.

This research will involve the collection of information – through an online questionnaire – about your views on the topic of environmental migration. Researchers estimate the questionnaire will take you approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The results from this questionnaire will be written up in peer-reviewed literature.

The participation is voluntary. No identifying information will be collected, all information will be securely stored, and participants may refuse to answer any of the questions. At all stages of the research, participant feedback is warmly welcomed. This study adheres to the Guidelines of the ethical review process of The University of Queensland and the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research.
