Climate change is already affecting lives and livelihoods worldwide and influencing migration decision-making. But migrants and their descendants can also be part of the solution.

This event will explore human mobility as a tool for climate ambition, focusing on the role of diasporas as repositories of talent, connections and investments that can support transnational partnerships and innovation in climate adaptation and finance.

The discussion will highlight good practices of collaboration and mechanisms to maximise diaspora contributions in policy and action.
