Co-organized by the Refugee Law Initiative (RLI), the Platform on Disaster Displacement (PDD) and the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC), the panel event will explore the potential of the UNFCCC and the Loss and Damage mechanism to catalyse the provision of 'durable solutions' for people facing displacement and other (im)mobility challenges in the context of climate change. The panel discussion will build on important themes in the just-published brief, It’s Time for Solutions: Addressing Displacement and Other Human Mobility Challenges in the Context of Climate Change Loss and Damage, co-convened by the RLI, PDD, IDMC and the Loss and Damage Collaboration (L&DC).
