When disasters strike and young people are displaced, they face challenges such as loss of education, protection, social inclusion, as well as increased exposure to violence, exploitation, and abuse. But they are also the most mobile and adaptable generation, more exposed and connected to the globalized and digitalized world. How can we harness the potential of young leaders to address the impacts of climate change on human mobility? How can we engage them in high-level dialogues on critical topics that shape their future, such as climate change and migration pathways?
This high-level event aims to engage established leaders in a conversation with youth, recognizing young people`s pivotal role in addressing climate change impacts on human mobility.
