By 2050, extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and drought exacerbated by climate change could displace across six regions over 216 million people within their own country, without concrete climate action and inclusive development. Migration, presenting both challenges and opportunities, can help build a localised resilience. This requires global-local cooperation and policies to adapt to climate migration.
