The Montreal Climate Security Summit is an annual international meeting at the intersection of the security and environmental sectors. This two-day event will feature in-depth panel discussions and keynotes on the global challenge of climate strategies in the context of great-power cooperation, climate migration, Arctic security, and military readiness. The purpose of the Montreal Summit is to foster collective and immediate action on climate change and develop pathways to ensure human security in the coming years. 

The panel on Displaced Populations and Human Security in Highly Impacted Areas examines the potential consequences and security risks that may emerge as a result of mass climate migration, with a focus on migration management and human security.
