United Nations Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the African Union Commission invite you to their event during the Africa Climate Week on "Collaboration — addressing common problems for transformative adaptation and resilience".
Climate change introduces and exacerbates impacts spreading beyond countries’ boarders. War, conflict, social unrest as well as unsustainable use of natural resources are common challenges whose impacts are exacerbated by climate change. This session discusses effective ways of addressing transboundary challenges in the face of climate change.
Ms. Hind Aïssaoui Bennani, Regional Thematic Specialist on Migration, Environment and Climate Change, is representing IOM in the Panel.
Further information regarding IOM's participation in the Africa Climate Week can be found here.
